I still owe you the last two days of the challenge. I didn’t reach 100 but 83 which is not so bad. Nevertheless I enjoyed the week very much. Thank you for joining and for your likes and especially for your comments 💕🙏😁
Yesterday was the third day of the challenge and I had mixed feelings while making my sketches. I started with selfie while breakfast and went into the next round during a coffee break. Normally I like the small coffee shop but it didn’t work for drawing for me . The room is long and narrow like an alleyway and very well visited, so I sat very close to people but could not see much… In the end I was a little bit frustrated and gave up after seven sketches. Later I met with my husband for a quick dinner in a Poke shop and it worked better there. At home I sketched the last eight with the help of a magazine again.
Gestern war der dritte Tag der Challenge und er war durchsetzt von gemischten Gefühlen während der Zeichnungen. Mein Start ar ein Selfie beim Frühstück und die nächste Runde folgte nachmittags in einer kleinen Kaffeebar. Normalerweise bin ich ganz gerne dort, musste aber feststellen, dass Zeichnen dort für mich nicht funktioniert. Der Raum hat eher die Form eines schmalen Durchgangs und das Café war auch sehr gut besucht, letztendlich saß ich sehr nah an den Leuten und konnte auch gar nicht so viel sehen. Schließlich habe ich nach sieben Skizzen frustriert aufgegeben. Später habe ich mich mit meinem Mann zu einem schnellen Abendessen auswärts in einem Poke-Laden/Bistro getroffen, da ging es etwas besser. Wieder zu Hause habe ich die restlichen acht Zeichnungen wieder mit Hilfe von Zeitschriften nachgeholt.

I was pretty happy to „catch up“ all sketches from real life on the first day. On the second day I got some from real life but more from tv and a magazine I was flipping through.
Ich war sehr zufrieden am ersten Tag alle Zeichnungen nach dem echten Leben „erbeutet“ zu haben. Am zweiten Tag ist mir das nur bei wenigen gelungen und die meisten entstanden beim Fernsehgucken und beim Durchblättern einer Zeitschrift.

in the end I didn`t manage the Inktober task very well. The most important reason for that was the fact that I started a new job in October and it was just too much for me. Nevertheless I have two last drawings (days 22 „ghost“ and 23 „ancient“) for you, let’s go under water 😉
letztendlich bin ich mit der diesjährigen Inktober Challenge nicht so gut zurechtgekommen. Der Hauptgrund war, dass ich seit Oktober einen neuen Job habe und es war dann doch zu viel, das alles zu kombinieren. Nichtsdestotrotz kann ich noch zwei Zeichnungen (von den Tagen 22 „Geist“ und 23 „sehr alt“) mit Euch teilen, lasst uns abtauchen 😉

It already became November and after weeks when I just found time for quick sketches I really enjoyed the work for the following illustration. I really had fun by imagine the cosy little scene and thought of the little details. Maybe I’m going to make a post card out of this, what do you think?
Es ist schon November und nach all den Wochen, in denen ich nur Zeit für kleine schnelle Skizzen gefunden habe, fand ich es richtig schön, mal mit Muße an der folgenden Illustration zu sitzen. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, mir diese kleine, gemütliche Szenerie auszudenken und an den kleinen Details zu tüfteln. Vielleicht mache ich daraus eine Postkarte, was meint Ihr?

Das Bildmit dem Wellensittich liegt mir allerdings am Herzen, weil ich mich vor einer Woche von unserer zehn Jahre alten Wellensittichdame verabschieden.Das Thema „zerbrechlich“ war an diesem Tag also sehr passend.

Hallo Ihr Lieben, lange nicht gesehen! Hab immer nochviel zu tun, aber ich wollte Euch wenigstens meine Skizzen vom letzten Besuch eines Wildparks zeigen 🙂
at the moment I am very occupied by my phd-thesis, so I draw mostly at the weekends. This one is from two weeks ago when my husband and I made a little trip to Schloß Dyck. It was very hot that weekend and strolling in the park under the shadows of the old big trees there was very refreshing. Sketching buildings, especially directly from life is still tricky for me.
Best thing was that my husbund recently started his first sketchbook, so we both sat there and tried to capture this beautiful building ❤ It was a really nice moment to share. I am really happy that I could motivate him to start with drawing.Mabe in he end he just didn’t want to sit next to me anymore doing nothing or waiting while I am filling my sketchbooks 😉 Do you share a hobby with your partners?
